Introducing The Cabin Collection
The idea for The Cabin Collection has been a long time coming. Miles and I have always been drawn to cabin life. Long before our move to Northern California, we gravitated toward cabins over hotels whenever we could on vacation, especially if they were tucked deep into the woods. Looking back, those choices felt like small breadcrumbs leading us away from the constant pace of city life and toward something slower and more grounded.
This time of year in Northern California feels especially magical. Our town settles into a quieter rhythm as fog blankets the brisk mornings and sunlight warms the day just enough. Evenings bring a sky full of stars and the familiar scent of fireplaces keeping living rooms warm.
The Cabin Collection reflects that feeling. For the first time, it includes men’s pieces, woven alongside familiar silhouettes. Navy blues, tweeds, and rich chestnut browns shape a palette made for layering. Jackets and button downs feel warm and familiar from the first wear. Practical yet expressive, each piece mirrors the slower rhythm of West County and the ease of Northern California living.
For the photoshoot, we ventured into the Monte Rio Redwoods Regional Park, where towering trees gather closely along the Dutch Bill Creek. Just across the water sat a quiet river cabin, steady and calm within the landscape, the perfect setting to bring this collection to life.
I’ve always cherished the first months of the year. A time for writing intentions, setting goals, and wishing above all for good health and joy for family and friends. In moments like these, a sense of coziness goes a long way. Layers pulled close, a cup of tea by the fire, and the comfort of slowing down, even briefly.
This collection is an invitation to do just that.
