Emerald Era Vintage

What began as a passion for vintage finds in Chicago has grown into Emerald Era Vintage. Now based in Guerneville, California, Michelle draws inspiration from the natural beauty around her, selecting pieces with lasting character and a sense of timeless balance.

Curated with care

Each piece is chosen for its quality, character, and story. Made to hold its place over time.

Founder & Curator

Michelle Morales

Michelle’s connection to vintage started early, shaped by years spent searching through local thrift stores and estate sales in her home state of Arizona. Curiosity grew into a deeper appreciation for craftsmanship, history, and the stories behind each piece.

Her love for vintage is rooted in the golden age of film and visual art. Influenced by icons like Audrey Hepburn, Rita Hayworth, and Frida Kahlo, she developed a lasting appreciation for timeless style. She swooned over 1940s-era Dior and was drawn to Edith Head’s costume design, where clothing played a defining role on the silver screen.

Her approach is grounded in unique style and intention. Each piece is chosen for its character, quality, and ability to be worn and lived in over time.

Background & Influence

A Sense of Rhythm

Music has long been part of Michelle’s life. A cellist since the age of 8, she has spent years performing and teaching, developing an appreciation for orchestrating artistry.

That influence carries through in how she curates, with a focus on pieces that feel everlasting.
