It’s officially Emerald Era’s second spring season.
This time of year always feels like a page turning. March beams into April, and everything begins again in the most beautiful way. At home, the lilacs are blooming in our backyard, and I’ve been watching the monarchs drift in and out. Miles is celebrating his birthday this month, which means his favorite sprinkle cupcakes are making their annual appearance.
With the extra sunshine, I’ve found myself reaching for the record player more often. Classic crooners filling the room, melodies that linger, and maybe a waltz across the floor.
With that feeling in mind, The Serenade Collection is here.
I kept coming back to color. Hopeful color. Inspired by wildflowers in bloom and that familiar pull to dress up again, I’ve gathered pieces in airy floral cottons, peachy pinks, yellow daisies, and gentle blush tones. A few were discovered while we were in Spain, each one carrying a bit of that place with it. My mom even joined in on the treasure hunt, uncovering a pearl-adorned dress and accessories that feel as though they stepped straight out of Marvelous Mrs. Maisel’s closet.
And of course, the finishing touches. Pillbox hats, a printed vintage clutch, pearl and rhinestone details. Little things that make getting dressed feel special again. Bows, powder puff heels, and midcentury flare.
